Retzer Nature Center Spring Engagement Session | McKenna + John

Engagement sessions are seriously the best. Good energy, excitement, and love fill the air.

I love getting to meet with couples during this special season of their lives.

McKenna and John and I met on a gorgeous, warm spring evening at Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha, WI. This is one of my favorite locations for sessions, as there is so much variety here! Open grassy fields, prairies, wooden boardwalks, tall pine trees, and even a hilltop overlook.

I loved every second of hanging out with them and capturing their love. When I asked what their favorite quality about each other was, here is what they answered:

“My favorite thing about John is how much he cares for the people he loves. He has the biggest heart and no matter who is in his life, they always feel so supported and loved by him.” And John said, “My favorite thing about McKenna is her big smile and how she finds so much joy in every single day.”

Like, c’mon?!

I cannot wait to capture their wedding day next March!
