Downtown Madison, WI Capitol Spring Engagement Session | Allie + Jake

As a Wisconsin wedding photographer, Spring is a beautiful season for engagement sessions, and Downtown Madison is the perfect location for a classy engagement session.

I had the pleasure of capturing memories for Allie and Jake who were the loveliest couple! We started with a classy look in Downtown Madison and ended with a casual outfit at Olin Park on Lake Monona with their dog Millie. Golden hour, soft kisses, and puppy snuggles filled the evening, making for a beautiful photo shoot.

Our first location was Downtown Madison, which is known for its beautiful architecture and stunning views. The couple wore a classy outfit that complemented the historic charm of the city. We took photos on the steps of the Capitol building as well as it’s surroundings and walkways which were lined with budding trees and blooming flowers. These two seriously looked so stunning in their outfits, and the backdrop of the city made for some beautiful photos.

For the second outfit, the couple opted for a more casual look and brought their dog Millie along for the shoot at Olin Park on Lake Monona. The park provided a stunning backdrop for the casual look, with its beautiful views of the lake and lush greenery. Allie and Jake were so relaxed and happy, and Millie was the perfect addition to the shoot. We captured some sweet moments of the couple snuggling with their furry friend and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

As the evening went on, we were blessed with golden hour, which provided the perfect lighting for some romantic shots. Allie and Jake shared soft kisses and warm embraces, creating some beautiful and intimate moments that will be cherished for a lifetime. The addition of Millie made for some playful and fun photos, capturing the joy and happiness of the couple and their furry friend.
