Kathleen and Luke’s wedding at the University Club of Chicago was a full-day celebration in downtown Chicago centered on family, connection, and the joining of two lives.
From the beginning, the day felt steady and at ease. Kathleen and Luke moved through it with a natural presence, surrounded by family and friends who were deeply invested in them. There was a constant warmth in the room that carried through the entire day.
The day moved from getting ready at their apartment to a first look at the University Club, portraits in the nearby gardens of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a church ceremony before returning downtown for the evening.
What stood out most was how present everyone was — the way people showed up for them, and how naturally the energy carried through each part of the day.
The reception at the University Club carried that same energy into the night. When the live band from Gold Coast Events started, the room filled and stayed full — a packed dance floor and a celebration that carried easily to the end of the night.
