Devils Lake State Park Spring Engagement Session | Mickayla + Cooper

Mikayla and Cooper are the most beautiful couple inside and out! I had the best time with them with them the other night at Devil’s Lake State Park in Baraboo, WI.

We had the most perfect spring evening–partly sunny and 80 degrees.

When I asked what they want to remember about this season of life and what you want to feel when you look back at these photos, they said, “Just how far we’ve come as a couple from the time we started dating at 14 years old, to doing long distance for 4 years, to becoming engaged and soon to be married. We’ve already been through so much, and I want to look back at these photos and say “we made it.”

Devil’s Lake State Park is such a good location choice for any session because there is so much variety at the park! From hiking trails, to scenic lake overlooks, beautiful bluffs, to sandy beach areas–it has everything!

Wanting to celebrate with a meal and drinks before or after your session? I highly recommend Tumbled Rock Brewery and Kitchen. This is such a great spot to hang out, and it is less than 5 minutes away from the North Shore entrance! Plus, the play live music throughout the spring through fall which is such a fun vibe!
