What to Expect

 1. Inquiry: As soon as you are interested in booking a session with me, please shoot me an email on my contact page. We will discuss all the specifics over email, phone calls, or video chat to discuss what you are looking for with your photo session.

2. Questionnaire: I will then send over a questionnaire so that I can learn more about you and what you enjoy doing most. Since the goal is to capture the authentic you, this form helps me further tailor each session so that I can give you the best experience.

3. Booking Proposal: Once the questionnaire is completed, I will send you a booking proposal where you will pick your session date and time, choose your session type, specify contact info., sign contract, and fulfill payment. I will also send out my Senior Style Guide which is loaded with information such as what to expect, what to wear, popular shooting locations, and more.

4. Planning: Based on your ideas for the shoot, we will pick your location(s) and brainstorm outfits. This step may include compiling a Pinterest board of photos that you like and sharing them with me. Additionally we will take care of any additional location permits.

5. Shooting: Finally, the fun part! We will meet at the designated location and start shooting! For the allocated shooting time, we will explore the location(s) and capture a variety of poses. Don’t worry. The majority of my clients are not professional models, so it is ok if you do not know how to “pose.” I will coach you on what to do, where to look, and when to smile. I am a stickler for details and will make sure your hair always looks great! All you need to do is have fun and relax.

6. Selections: I will cull the photos and remove the outtakes. The images I do not deliver are either repeats, blurry or out of focus, shots of you blinking or mid-sentence speaking. I have no reason to withhold any images if there are additional ones I think you would enjoy!

7. Delivery: This is when you get to see your gorgeous final gallery! After the second half of the payment is complete, the photos will be shared with you via an online gallery service. Please download all the images as soon as you can, as I cannot guarantee that I will retain the gallery past 2 months after delivery.

8. Follow Up: I will send you a quick follow up survey as well as an optional testimonial form. As a photographer, my best means of advertising is word-of-mouth and testimonials. Your help with this means the world to me!
